Showing good dark color, with flavors and aromas of black currant, tobacco, earth and lead pencil, along with a little licorice for good measure and a note of wood, neither old nor new. Full bodied, with solid structure and good length, this is quite approachable now with some air and steaks on the grill, and offers great promise for further development and improvement over the next three to five years. A Winebuys staff favorite!
