There are a small but persistent group of us wine drinkers that understand that bubbly, regardless of where it is produced, is a wonderful wine to consume at any time of the year. At almost any time of the day. But not with almost anyone.
Trouble is,where is your pain threshold?
Gloria Ferrer has the answer.
Purchased recently at $11.50 a bottle, this is a terrific value that doesn't get old, and doesn't quit. Sure, it's not a $40 bottle, but the jump to that level isn't warranted on most occasions.
As someone who has looked high and low for a modestly priced bubbly that can be shamelessly consumed any day of the week, look no further. You've got a friend in Gloria.
