Mas des Brunes is located within the village of Magalas, 15 km north of the beautiful and historic city of Béziers. The vineyards are situated just outside the southern limit of AOC Faugères at an altitude of 116 to 160 meters. The intense sunshine and low rainfall enjoyed in this area are ideal conditions for making rich, concentrated wines. Syrah 60%, Grenache 40%.

90 Points, Kim Marcus/Wine Spectator. Intense, decadent red, with firm kirsch, paprika and dark plum flavors. Balanced and lively with its grilled meat elements, gently seasoned with salt and pepper. Firm finish filled with bittersweet chocolate. Tempting now, but best to wait. Syrah and Grenache. Best from 2006 through 2009. A Winebuys staff favorite!
