Medium straw color, almost verging on pale gold; one whiff of this and there's no doubt that it's Gewurztraminer, with its lovely litchi and rose petal aromatics that echo and expand on the palate with a rich, yet dry peachy core and some subtle mineral underneath. Medium full-bodied, with good acids and only slightly oily in texture, this is one of the best white wines made in Michigan year in and year out, from one of the best vineyards, giving another fine example of the kind of quality that the state is producing more and more of. It'll pair well with a variety of foods; we enjoyed it with duck quesadillas. A Winebuys staff favorite!
